Lemelerberg
The Lemelerberg is a moraine with a height of sixty meters. Just like the Sallandse Heuvelrug, the Lemelerberg originated in the penultimate ice age. The Lemelerberg is characterized by heathland, deciduous forest and swaying sand plains. Other ‘mountains’ from the same period are the Besthemenerberg and the Archemerberg. On top of the Lemelerberg there is a large boulder brought there during the ice age. The area is excellent for beautiful hiking and cycling tours.
